Norman J. Kotlik

Norman J. Kotlik, 83 of Washington died unexpectedly on Monday-May 7, 2018.  He was born January 14, 1935 in Bellaire, Ohio the son of the late Norman and Anna Kotlik.  Mr. Kotlik was a graduate of Bellaire High School.  He worked in sales for Best Foods and Spatola Wines for 35 years up until his retirement.  He enjoyed playing a variety of sports throughout his life especially baseball.  In the 1950’s, Mr. Kotlik was signed by Branch Rickey to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates before an injury ended his baseball career.  He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

His wife; Joann is deceased.  Surviving is a son; Joe Kotlik of Virginia Beach, Virginia, a daughter; Ann Marie (Joseph) Colucci of Shaler, Pa., two grandchildren; Christopher and Daniel and a dear friend; Carolann Ridings.

In addition to his father, mother and wife, Mr. Kotlik was preceded in death by a son; Mark Kotlik.
