Kara Shyree' Sanford
/Beloved Daughter who Loved Everyone
Kara Shyree’ Sanford, 33 of Washington, the most loving and joyful daughter went home to be with God on Tuesday-April 4, 2017 after a long battle with diabetes & kidney disease. She was born February 17, 1984 the daughter of Lee A. & Diane T. Sanford both of Washington. She was a graduate of Trinity High School, attended CCAC, Penn Commercial and Phoenix University; accounting was her professional passion. She worked at Wall-Mart, Giant Eagle, and OSI in South Pointe. Miss Sanford loved children, animals and her family. When her health permitted she was a faithful member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, serving on the Praise Team, Hospitality Ministry, and youth activities. She considered the members of the church as a second family.
She is survived by her parents, sister; Nicole (Michael) Meads, brothers; Virgil (Erin) Sanford of Steubenville and David Merryman of England, nieces; Chauntae and Tyeisha Crutchfield, Gabriella and TeLeah Sanford, Leanne Brock, & Brianna Trainer (niece and care giver); step-siblings; JoJo (Joyce) Burgess, Richard (Toi) Burgess, Dawn Burgess (Fiance’-Shawn Kennedy) & Robin Trainer. A host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles also survive. She is also survived by her significant other; Glen Walden and her Godparents; Ted & Mary Jane Kirby of McKeesport.
Miss Sanford was preceded in death by a brother; Lee “Tiger” Sanford Jr., maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents & stepmother; Veta Trainer-Sanford.
Family and friends will be received at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 17 E. Walnut St. Washington Pa. on Saturday-April 8, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. the hour of a Home Going Service with Pastor Richard D. White, Jr. officiating. The eulogy will be given by Pastor White. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. All floral arrangements should be taken directly to the church on Saturday.
