George M. Adams, 91 of Washington formerly of Irondequoit, New York died Wednesday-December 14, 2016 at Transitions Health Care, Washington. He was born April 26, 1925 in Pittsburgh. Mr. Adams was raised by his grandmother; Jean Totten Back & step-grandfather; Edward Blake Back. He was a graduate of Jeanette High School. Mr. Adams was employed for 10 years with Sealtest and also was a sales representative for West Bend Company. Mr. Adams along with his wife was a manufacturer’s representative at the “Adams House” for many years. He enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. He also was a longtime member of the Ontario Club and was a member of the Irondequoit Rotary Club in Rochester. Mr. Adams served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.

On June 8, 1947 he married Carmella Baglivo who died March 9, 2007. Surviving are his four children; Joyce M. (Robert) Bruno of Washington, Edward B. Adams of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Donald W. (Susan) Adams of Wheaton, Illinois & Nancy J. Adams (Sal Renda) of Maplewood, New Jersey, a half sister; Sherry (Mel) Foster of Huntington Woods, Michigan, 12 grandchildren; Eric Bruno, Erinn (Jason) Altman, Christopher Bruno, Daniel (Nikki) Adams, Caitlyn (Joe) Sutherland, Ellen (Ryan) Johnson, Maggie Shippy, Thomas (Yuko) Shippy, Michael Shippy, Marie Adams, Kristen Renda & Oscar Renda, 6 great grandchildren; Jenna Bruno, Mia Altman, Ayla Altman, Leah Sutherland, Trevor Sutherland & Ethan Sutherland.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E.
