Lois Jean "Lothie" Sinclair
/Lois Jean “Lothie” Sinclair, 79 of Claysville died Saturday-September 12, 2015 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh after a brief illness. She was born October 16, 1935 in Washington the daughter of the late Leonard George & Marguerite Cox Bell. Mrs. Sinclair was raised by Jean & Raymond Shaw due to the early death of her mother. She was a 1953 graduate of Washington High School. Mrs. Sinclair was a member of Avery United Methodist Church. She was very active in the church. She sang in the church choir for 32 years and taught Sunday School for over 20 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, writing poems and had been a member of the “Help Each Other Homemakers Club” for 42 years. Mrs. Sinclair enjoyed the yearly vacations she took with her husband, children & their spouses, grandchildren & their spouses and all of the great grandchildren. They took yearly trips to Arizona & to Cooks Forest for the last 35 years. Her life was her family and her church.
On December 24, 1953 she married James W. “Jim” Sinclair who survives. They were married in Cumberland Maryland and had celebrated 61 years of marriage last December.
Also surviving are their daughters; Sonya “Soni” (Floyd) Marasco of Washington & Debbie (Michael) Fairchild of Phoenix, Arizona, 6 grandchildren; Debbie (Dale) Crouse of Prosperity, Jess Morgan (Bruce) McWreath of Washington, Angie Marasco (Jim) Callen of Aspen, Colorado, Ali Morgan (Craig) Heppe of Phoenix, Arizona, Ashley Fairchild (Kyle) Winterstein of Phoenix, Arizona, Lindsey Fairchild (David) O’Neil of Phoenix, Arizona, 12 Great Grandchildren; Lizzie Crouse, Emma Crouse, Braden McWreath, Makenzie O’Neil, Jackson Heppe, Zach McWreath, Jacob Heppe, Jessie Heppe, Ava McWreath, Marley O’Neil, June Heppe & Ivy McWreath, 2 brothers; Ronald “Ron” Bell of Washington & Jack (Linda) Shaw of Georgia, 2 sisters; Eva (William) Johnson of Washington & Linda (Bill) Garrett of Washington, several nieces & nephews also survive.
Mrs. Sinclair was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers; William Bell, Clifford Shaw, Gerald Shaw, & Carl Shaw.
Friends will be received on Sunday-September 20, 2015 from 2– 4 and & 7 – 9 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S, Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, SusanFalvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Additional visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. until 11:00 a.m. the hour of a funeral service on Monday-September 21, 2015 in Avery United Methodist Church, Gabby Ave. Washington with Pastor Eric Hoeke officiating.
