Esther J. Pattison

Esther J. Pattison, 88 of Washington whom resided at the Washington County Health Center died Saturday-March 21, 2015 at the Washington Hospital after a lengthy and spirited struggle with many health issues. Esther joined her husband in Heaven just days prior to their wedding anniversary. She was born December 17, 1926 in Washington the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary Holmes Latimer. Mrs. Pattison was a member of the Central Assembly of God. She attended Washington High School. She was employed many years ago at the Duncan Miller Glass Company, Hazel Atlas, at a grenade factory and at the George Washington Hotel in the Army kitchen where they served the soldiers during World War II. Mrs. Pattison enjoyed sewing, baking, painting, gardening and most of all spending time with her family, daughter, granddaughter and great grand-children. On March 27, 1946 she married Ollie F. Pattison who died August 8, 2002. Surviving is her daughter; Karen Pattison-DeMarino, granddaughter; Nicole DeMarino (William) DeBee, great- grandchildren; Morgan H. DeBee and Casimere DeBee, brother-in-law; Charles Pattison, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Pattison was preceded in death by three brothers; Dick Holmes, Charles Latimer & Everett Latimer, and a sister; Margaret Jett. Friends will be received on Tuesday- March 24, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday-March 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
