Joseph Pochiba Joseph Pochiba, 83 of Washington formerly of Canonsburg died Tuesday-March 10, 2015 unexpectedly in the Washington Hospital Emergency Room. He was born December 21, 1931 in Canonsburg the son of the late Andrew and Anna Kotvas Pochiba. Mr. Pochiba was the owner of the Trio Lounge & Restaurant for many years. Mr. Pochiba served in the United States Army during the Korean War receiving the Korean Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, the Good Conduct Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. His wife, Dorothy Ann Karahuta , died on December 3, 2005. Surviving are his children; sons; Gerald (Roberta) Pochiba of Canonsburg, Kevin (Carol) Pochiba of Claysville, daughter; Janice (Barry) Hepinger of Washington, brother; John (Donna) Pochiba of Canonsburg, sister; Evelyn Gulla of Canonsburg, six grandchildren; Adam Pochiba, Nicholas Pochiba, Zachary Pochiba, Christopher Hepinger, Ryan Hepinger (fiance'-Brittany Dulaney), Erin (Scott) Merydith, four great-grandchildren; Tyler Hepinger, Mikayla Pochiba, Sydney Merydith & Abbigail Dulaney, several nieces & nephews also survive. Mr. Pochiba was preceded in death by a son; Andrew Pochiba, brothers; Andrew & Frank Pochiba, sisters; Helen Sluciakm, Mary Kowalski, Anna Wudkwych, Frances Sroka, Katherine Kissell & Julia Brezinski. Friends will be received on Thursday-March 12, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Additional visitation will be held on Friday- March 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. the hour of a blessing service in the funeral home with Father Thomas Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Full military rites will be accorded by the VFW Post 191 of Canonsburg and the United States Army.
