Genevieve Parry Tucci Genevieve Parry Tucci, 98 of Mt. Pleasant formerly of Washington died Saturday-January 3, 2015 at the Amber House in Mt. Pleasant. She was born August 28, 1916 in Winder, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Rescinitti Parry of Greensburg. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Washington, the Christian Mothers Association, Victoria Lodge, Order of Italian Sons and Daughters of America and the Italian American War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Tucci was very active in volunteering at the Washington Hospital Fund Drives. She was a wonderful cook. Her family meant everything to her. She also enjoyed her many travels with her husband and loved to play bingo. On April 22, 1943 she married Amel L. Tucci who died September 20, 1995. Surviving is her loving son; Mark A. (Judy) Tucci of Mt. Pleasant, Pa. Mrs. Tucci was preceded in death by her daughter; Janet Schneider and her son-in-law; Bob Schneider. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers; Nick and Frank Parry & two sisters; Isabelle Bruno and Rose Schrock. Mrs. Tucci was the last of her immediate family. Friends will be received on Tuesday-January 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, Washington. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
