Victor Dale Patterson
/Victor Dale Patterson, 55 of Mt. Morris, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024 with his family at his side following a courageous battle with cancer. Dale had also battled Multiple Sclerosis for many years. He was born April 11, 1969 in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late Victor D. and Catherine N. Shriver Patterson. Dale was a 1987 graduate of Trinity High School and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in H.V.A.C. from Penn Commercial. He was also a certified E.M.T. in the State of Pennsylvania. Dale worked as a coal miner for several years, was a field service representative for Keystone Mountaineer and was also an H.V.A.C. technician for McMurray Heating and Cooling. His most loved and cherished job was that of a hunting and fishing guide in Ontario, Canada on the Pickerel River. Dale was a true outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed tinkering around on his farm. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and son. Dale had been “Trudging the Road of Happy Destiny” for over thirty one years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
On July 3, 2010 he married Jacqueline K. Moore Patterson who survives. Also surviving is a son, Victor “Andy” Patterson at home; a father in law, Eugene Kelly of Scenery Hill and his best friend and confidant of over twenty five years, Joann Hall of Pittsburgh. Several nieces and nephews also survive, especially his niece, Jillian (Kyle) DeMarino of Houston, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an aunt, Margaret “Maggie” Fox.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 3 P.M until 5 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco Director. Jodie Banner will officiate. Interment will be private.
