Joseph Edward "Starbuck" Jubas

Joseph Edward “Starbuck” Jubas, 90 of Canonsburg formerly of Manifold & Pittsburgh died Tuesday-July 5, 2016 at 7:25 a.m. at the Consulate Health Care of North Strabane after a lengthy illness. He was born January 27, 1926 in Washington the son of the late Michael & Jennie Loyeck Jubas. Mr. Jubas was employed for over 20 years as a Glassworker for Hazel Atlas #2 retiring in 1965. He served in the United States Navy during World War II receiving the Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon & the Victory Medal. Mr. Jubas was a very kind, thoughtful, caring & generous person.

Surviving are several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Jubas was preceded in death by three brothers; John Jubas, Frank Jubas & Andy Jubas, four sisters; Rose Savage, Anna Giacometti, Julia Dean & Mary Kania.

At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, P.O.
