Marlene Molinaro Griffith
Marlene Molinaro Griffith, 83, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, June 1, 2024. She was born December 9, 1940, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Florence Tennant Molinaro, Sr. Marlene was employed for 17 years as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at the Presbyterian Home from where she retired. She was Christian by faith and was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Church in the West End of Washington. Marlene attended Shiloh Bible College and she ministered to children at Bible Release Time at the Washington Park Elementary School. She loved music and was the lead singer in a band along side her brothers which was known as “The Del Jay’s” in the late 50’s. Most of all Marlene enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her entire family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving is a son, Christopher Griffith of Washington, PA; a daughter, JoDee Mitchell of Washington, PA; three brothers, Frank Molinaro, Jr. of Kentucky, John (Ethel) Molinaro of Washington, PA, and Gary (Charlotte) Molinaro of Ohio; four grandchildren, Jessica and Alycia Mitchell and Joelle and Jalea Provance; ten great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Molinaro.
