Gregory Boyd Marsteller
Gregory Boyd Marsteller, 75, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 11, 2024. He was born November 28, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA, and was raised in Bentleyville, PA. Greg was the son of the late Boyd and Marjorie Marsteller. He graduated from Bentworth High School in 1967, where he was a multi-sport athlete, lettering in both football and baseball. After serving in the United States Air Force, Greg worked in the railroad construction industry, for over 50 years. He resided in Ashtabula, Ohio and was most recently employed by Rhinehart Railroad Construction.
Lovingly referred to as “Pap Pap” by his grandchildren, Greg enjoyed playing golf and watching all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. He loved his family and was a kind, gentle, soft spoken man who never had anything bad to say about anyone. Greg will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, Catherine Marsteller, Greg is survived by his 4 loving children, Mandy (Joe) Odak of Atlanta, Georgia, Megan Marsteller, of Ashtabula, Ohio, Allison (S. Timothy II) Warco of Washington, Pennsylvania, and Brent (Sara) Marsteller of Tampa, Florida; his 15 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert (Sandra) and James (Greta) Marsteller; nephews, Ian and Jordan Marsteller, and stepson, Daniel (Kris) Levi.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director. The funeral service and burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA will be private.
