Stella M. Fields

Stella M. Fields, 72, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024.  She was born November 19, 1951, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Elliot and Thelma Kelly Fields.  Miss. Fields was a graduate of McGuffey High School.  She was a homemaker and a caretaker to many.  At one time she attended Living Waters Church.  Miss. Fields enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and playing her scratch offs.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  They were her everything.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are three daughters, Natasha (Phillip) Ledwell of Virginia, Iesha (Jamar Comedy) Hackett of Washington, PA, and Tamika (Terrence Boyd) Hackett of Washington, PA, and Joshalyn Barfield of Uniontown, PA, whom she regarded as a daughter; two brothers, Joseph L. (Sandra) Fields of Washington, PA, and Paul F. Fields of Washington, PA; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews also survive. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Spencer and by six brothers, Lowell Beatty, Raymond Beatty, William Fields, Robert Fields, Troy Fields, and Eugene C. “Cue” Fields.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Washington Cemetery.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
