Patricia Emma Eisert Evans
Patricia Emma Eisert Evans, of Washington, PA died at 6:16 am on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the age of 89. The daughter of the late August Rudolph Eisert and Elena Artioli Eisert, was born in Genoa, Italy on February 22, 1935. Before moving to Washington in 1942, she had also resided in Naples and Rome, Italy and Lisbon, Portugal. Mrs. Evans lived in Washington for 82 years.
She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1953 and also graduated from Penn Commercial College. Mrs. Evans was formerly employed by the Fairmont Supply Company as an executive secretary.
On September 10, 1960, she married the late Lyle Edsell Evans of Canonsburg. She is survived by her three sons, Christopher Lyle Evans of Cheverly, Maryland, Bradley Eric Evans of Richmond, Virginia, and Philip Patrick Evans of Washington, PA.
Mrs. Evans was a member of the Christian Mothers Rosary Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception Church and for many years was active in the YWCA. In earlier years, she had also been active in the Solidarity of the Immaculate Conception Church, the John F. Kennedy School Parent Teachers Group, Boy Scout Pack 1005, and Boy Scout Troop 1012. Mrs. Evans was also an enthusiastic volleyball player for most of her life until age 68 and enjoyed all things chocolate.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director. The Christian Mothers of St. James Parish will recite the Rosary at 3:30 P.M. on Thursday in the funeral home. Departing Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, December 6, 2024, in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, 119 W. Chestnut Street, Washington, PA with the Rev. Michael Peck as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, St. James Mausoleum.
