Betty J. Boiaroff
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty J. Boiaroff. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend left us on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the age of 87.
Born on September 28, 1937, in Norwich, England, a daughter of the late Frederick and Rhoda Mann. Betty worked at Norvic shoe factory following graduation. She met her late husband, Harry, while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force and they married on May 18, 1957, in Norwich. They returned to the United States in 1959, and together they celebrated 45 years of marriage.
Betty lived a life defined by love, hard work, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her spirit was matched only by her boundless love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was extremely proud of her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren, Jason and Rachel, at Big Bear Lake, with Zach at Boy Scout events, and watching Abby perform in the marching band. She especially loved pet-sitting her favorite four-legged grandchild, Westen.
Betty enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, knitting, gardening and volunteering at the Marianna Volunteer Fire Company.
Surviving are three children, Steve Boiaroff, Sr. of Marianna, Elaine Sue Johnson of Washington, and Lisa Corlazzoli and her husband Joe, of North Huntingdon; six grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie) Kint, Rachel (Benjamin) Buchanan, Zachary Corlazzoli, Abigail Corlazzoli, Andrew Boiaroff, and Steven Boiaroff, Jr. Several great-grandchildren and one sister, Joan Fletcher of Lingwood, England also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Boiaroff; three siblings; a son-in-law, Bill Johnson, and a daughter-in-law, Donna Boiaroff.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.
