Vincent A. Sargent

Vincent A. Sargent, 93, of Washington, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in his home.  He was born December 10, 1929, in Washington, PA, the son of the late Raffaele and Mary Carlet Sargent.  Vincent served in the Korean War and worked as a mail carrier for 37 years.  He enjoyed golfing, watching sports, and spending time with his family.  Vincent was very loved by family and all who met him.

On March 19, 1953, he married the late Audrey G. Popovich who died January 16, 2022.  They were married for 68 years.  Surviving are three daughters, Judith M. (William) O’Brien, Alison A. (Jeffrey) Wigman, and Lynn H. (Kenneth) Schulz; six grandchildren, Erin (Dustin) O’Brien-McCall, William “Billy” (Morgan) O’Brien, Jason (Brittany) Wigman, Megan (Joseph) Wigman McGee, Jake (Samantha) Schulz, and Mason Schulz, and a sister, Elaine Milhollan.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by five siblings, one granddaughter, Samantha Schulz and two great grandchildren, Evelyn and Zaiden McGee.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 2 - 6 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 30, 2023.  Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery.  Full military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175 and the United States Army.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
