Corbin John Shinsky

Corbin John Shinsky, 26 of Ellsworth, PA, formerly of Eighty Four PA, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023.  He was born March 31, 1996 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of Ronald J. and Lorie Ann Crawford Shinsky who survive.  Corbin was a 2014 graduate of Ringold High School.  He served in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 171st Air Refueling Wing for nine years where he was awarded the Air and Space Achievement Medal, Air and Space Outstanding Unit Award with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Nuclear Deterrence Operations Service Medal, Air and Space Longevity Service Award and the Air and Space Training Ribbon.     He was the owner of “Knives by Corbin”, where he made custom knives.  Corbin enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles and was an avid gun and knife enthusiast.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Ryan (Layne Elia) Shinsky of Illinois and maternal grandparents, Sherry Crawford and Ernie Getsinger.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. 

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Kathleen Shinsky.

Friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. on both Wednesday, March 8, 2023 and Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 10, 2023.  Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.  Full military rites will be accorded graveside by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post #175 and the United States Air Force.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
