Sandra Helene Keller

Sandra Helene “Rabbit” Keller, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2023, following a lengthy illness.  She was born September 16, 1942, in Canonsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Albert and Ilene Knopsky Polo.  On January 4, 1985, she married Henry Lee Keller, Sr. who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Allan Gordon Pahanish, Jr. of Pheonix, AZ and Henry Lee Keller, Jr. of Washington, PA; a daughter Elizabeth Keller, of Washington, PA and a granddaughter, Emily Dawn Keller of Washington, PA.

Mrs. Keller graduated from Canon-McMillian High School in 1960 where she was Senior Queen.  She was a professional dancer and owned/operated Sandee’s School of Dancing in Canonsburg, PA.  Mrs. Keller also taught professional baton.  She was a Miss America Pageant Dancer in Atlantic City and appeared in the Tony Grant Stars on Ice.  Mrs. Keller was also a professional dancer in Las Vegas at the Desert Inn.  She also appeared with the Three Stooges and on the Bob Newhart Show.  Mrs. Keller was also employed in the Washington County Court House and because of her love of horses, also worked at the Meadows Racetrack since 1963.  She loved and raised horses and dogs over the course of her life.  Mrs. Keller will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Friends will be received on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. the hour of a funeral service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 525 Fairway Drive, Washington, PA 15301.  Bishop Benjamin Adcock will officiate.  Entombment will follow in the Washington Cemetery, Four Season’s Mausoleum.  Condolences may be expressed at www.WarcoFalvoFuneralHome.com
