Robert Francis Scott

Robert “Bob” Francis Scott, age 91, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.  Bob was born on April 26, 1932, to Harry and Golda Obershaw Scott.  He was an Army National Guard Veteran.  Bob retired from Jessop Steel.  His wife, Ludwina Berry Scott, passed away in December of 2019.

He is survived by two sons, Paul (Karen) Scott and Brian (February) Scott; two daughters, Carla Scott, and Robin Scott.  Bob is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  One great grandchild is waiting to welcome him at Heaven’s Gate.

He was a father figure to all his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to teach life skills.  He enjoyed mowing his lawn, tinkering on cars, fixing things, and watching his family grow.  Bob was the one everyone turned to for help.  He was the glue that held his family together and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them.  His kindness and sacrifices extended beyond his family. His home and heart were always open to anyone in need.  Bob was a selfless man who always put others before himself.  He was the definition of an amazing man.  Bob will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to OSPTA Hospice for their incredible services and to Tim Warco, II for his kindness and professionalism.
