Dennis L. “Denny” Marchand, 80 of Washington passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  He was born November 27, 1941 in Brownsville, PA the son of the late Lewis V. and Ethel G. Rogers Marchand.  Denny was a graduate of Brownsville High School and was Methodist by faith.  He was the owner and operator of Marchand Auto in Pancake for thirty three years until the time of his retirement.  Denny was a proud member of the Sunset Lodge No. 623 F.& A.M.  He enjoyed woodworking and his cats at home.  Denny will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. 

On May 30, 1964 he married Alberta E. “Bertie” Kramer who survives.  Also surviving is a son, Lew (Marci) Marchand of Lone Pine; a daughter, Lori (Jerry) Wagner of Eighty Four; a brother, David (Jean) Marchand of Winchester, Virginia and three grandchildren, Lexie Marchand, Ciara (Zach) Sloneker and Dustin Wagner.

In addition to his father and mother, Denny was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy.
