Rose Marie Kastory

Rose Marie Kastory, 86 of Washington passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022.  She was born May 26, 1936 in Sharpsburg, PA the daughter of the late George Martin and Josephine Daversa Kastory.  Rose was a graduate of Sharpsburg High School.  She was employed as a telephone operator at Drakenfield from where she retired.  Rose was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish.  She took care of her mother and uncle all of her life.  Rose enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, reading and helping others.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew and love her.

Surviving are several cousins, many treasured friends and neighbors and her beloved “Teddy”.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by a brother, George Kastory, who died in infancy; a brother, Joseph Kastory and an uncle, Rebell G. Daversa.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, Holly Renay Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  A prayer service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, St. James Parish, 119 W. Chestnut St., Washington with the Rev.
