Anthony C. "Tony" Molinaro Jr.
Anthony C. “Tony” Molinaro Jr., 77 of Washington passed away on Saturday-May 15, 2021. He was born July 16, 1943 in Washington PA the son of the late Anthony C. and Mary Skittle Molinaro Sr. Tony was a 1961 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School where he played basketball and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He served in the Army National Guard. Tony was employed at Jessop Steel (Allegheny Ludlum) for 39 years up until his retirement in 2002. He was very instrumental in helping others in recovery in the Washington area. He would always tell people that he was living “Another Day In Paradise”. Tony coached midget football at the Brownson House, coached Washington Youth Baseball and was an assistant junior varsity basketball coach at Immaculate Conception High School. Following his retirement he worked part time at Warco-Falvo Funeral Home where he enjoyed being around and helping people. He liked to dance, enjoyed family vacations and working in his yard. Tony enjoyed Christmas, decorating the Christmas tree and putting up Christmas lights and decorations outside. Most of all, he enjoyed traveling to spend time with his granddaughter, Samantha who was the love of his life.
On May 27, 1967 he married Valerie A. “Val” Angotti who died February 27, 2020. Surviving is a son, Anthony S. “Tony” (Kristen) Molinaro of Gibsonia, PA; two sisters, Carol (Kenneth) Berdine of Eighty-Four and Linda (Ron) Luisi of Washington and a granddaughter, Samantha Molinaro. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Molinaro was preceded in death by his twin brother, Sam Molinaro.
