Peyton Justice III
Peyton Justice III, 74 of Washington died Sunday-March 7, 2021. He was born July 22, 1946 in Delbarton, West Virginia the son of the late Juanita Bell Clark Justice and Peyton Justice Jr. Mr. Justice served in the United States Army from September of 1967 until September of 1969 serving one year in Vietnam. While in the service, he received the Bronze Star Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Combat Infantryman Medal and the Sharpshooter (Rifle) Badge. Mr. Justice was employed as a driver for the United Parcel Service for 32 years up until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf and watching his children and grandchildren play various sports. Mr. Justice will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
On May 27, 1969 in Arlington, Virginia he married Paula Jean Mansberry who survives. Also surviving are three children, Monica (Ed) Newman, Peyton (Carrie) Justice IV and Philip Ray (Autumn) Justice; grandchildren, Harley Lynn, Hali Rae, Hunter William, Macie J., Madison J., LilyAnn Grace and Malia J.; three great-granddaughters, Raelynn Renee, Ellianna May and Vivian Jean; a brother, Harold Edward (Ann) Justice of Elyria, Ohio; two sisters, Nancy Ann (Harry-Deceased) Garner of Hollywood, Maryland and Rhonda (Gerald) Cataldo of Chestertown, Maryland; several nieces and nephews and a sister in law, Jessie (Roy-Deceased) Anderson of Prosperity.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Justice was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy; a sister, Kathleen J. (Fred) Carter and a brother in law, Perry (Shelva) Mansberry.
Friends will be received on Wednesday-March 10, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. the hour of a funeral service in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. Pastor Fred McCloskey will officiate the funeral service. Those wishing to attend the visitation and funeral service are asked to wear a facial covering and state occupancy regulations within the funeral home will be adhered to. Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery. Full military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 and the United States Army.
