Shawn A. McMahon

Shawn A. McMahon, 62 of Washington, formerly of Scott Twp. passed away peacefully on Friday-December 10, 2021 in his sleep.  He was born October 16, 1959 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late Gerald A. and Mary Lou Babinger McMahon.  Mr. McMahon was employed at the Washington City Mission in the Samaritan Care Center.  He loved working at the Mission and was very proud of the work that he did.  Mr. McMahon enjoyed fishing, wood carving, painting and coloring.  He was a true lover of art.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Surviving is his wife, Sally A. Gravener of Washington; a son, Jerry (Heather) McMahon of Dormont, a daughter, Sarah (Gary Shawley) McMahon of Donora; three brothers, Patrick (Deborah) McMahon of Florida, Michael (Lydia) McMahon of Virginia and Daniel (Sue) McMahon of Dormont; a sister, Missy (John) Harahus of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren, Cameron and Kiara Shawley and a sister in law, Debra McMahon of Pittsburgh.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McMahon was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy McMahon.

Friends will be received on Tuesday-December 14, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  A funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Lance Whitlock officiating.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington City Misssion, 84 W.
