Frank Louis Brach

Frank Louis Brach, 81 of Washington passed away peacefully on Friday-January 15, 2021 in the Washington Hospital with his family by his side.  He was born July 14, 1939 in Washington, PA the son of the late Frank and Mary Brach.  Frank was a 1956 graduate of Trinity High School.  He then served in the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged.  Frank was employed at McGraw-Edison for a number of years before moving on to accept a position with the Baltimore Life Insurance Company where he retired from some years later.  He was Roman Catholic by faith and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.  Frank was also a member of various clubs and organizations including the Alpine Club, the Bears Club and the Elks.  He was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Canonsburg area Catholic Church dart ball leagues.  Frank also enjoyed a good hand of black jack, harness racing and watching sports and classic western movies with his loving dog, Buddy by his side. 

On May 22, 1961 he married Helen Marie Zavatski of Canonsburg who survives.  The couple would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.  Also surviving is a son, Frank (Teri) Brach of Venice, Florida; a daughter, Kristi Rea of Washington; a brother, Arnold (Pam) Brach of Washington; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Little Jack, Allison and Jimmy; two great grandchildren, Ava and Roman.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a son, James Anthony Brach and by two sisters, Antonette Brach and Delores Spencer.

All funeral arrangements are private.  A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S.
