Daniel Charles Homich II
Daniel Charles “Dan” Homich II, 34 of Washington, formerly of Sewickley passed away unexpectedly on Friday-April 5, 2019. He was born October 10, 1984 in Sewickley the son of Daniel Charles and Ginny Kelley Homich of Sewickley who survive. Mr. Homich was a 2003 graduate of Our Lady of Sacred Heart High School and was a 2008 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Canonsburg. Mr. Homich was employed as a Contracts Administrator at J.B.S. Cranes in Canonsburg. He loved all sports and was a huge New England Patriots fan. Mr. Homich enjoyed building, refinishing and woodworking projects. He looked forward to and enjoyed family beach vacations and his Friday night game nights with his wife and children. His wife and children meant the world to him and he worked diligently, professionally and personally to provide for them. He will be forever remembered and missed by all that knew and loved him.
On December 7, 2013 he married Chelsea Lang of Washington who survives. Also surviving are his children, Izzy, Emma and Brady Homich; a sister, Katie (Tim) Mihalyi; maternal grandmother, Gloria Kelley; father and mother-in-law, James E. and Donna Lang; two brothers-in-law, Orion (Tori) Lang and Chaz (Kara) Lang and six nieces and two nephews. Mr. Homich is also survived by and will be dearly missed by his English Bulldog, Oscar.
Mr. Homich was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Patrick Kelley, his paternal grandparents and by his brother-in-law, Jimmy Lang.
Friends will be received on Wednesday-April 10, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. and from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. the hour of a memorial service with the Rev. Dr. Ann Schmid officiating in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director. Friends will also be received on Thursday-April 11, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. the hour of a Memorial Mass at the St. James Catholic Church, 200 Walnut St. Sewickley.
