Alexander David Spencer

Alexander David Spencer, 26 of Washington died unexpectedly in his home on Friday-January 4, 2019.  He was born August 30, 1992 in St. Petersburg, Russia.  Mr. Spencer was a 2011 graduate of Trinity High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh, Greensburg.  He was Orthodox by faith.  Mr. Spencer had a CDL License and at one time worked as an over the road truck driver.  Most recently, he was employed as a cook at McDonald’s on Chestnut St. in Washington.  Mr. Spencer enjoyed golfing with his father, playing scrabble and following NFL football.  He also enjoyed watering and taking care of his mother’s plants at home.  Mr. Spencer will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his father and mother; David L. Spencer and Aryiro “Sylvia” Spencer of Washington.  Also surviving are an uncle and aunt; John and Joan Brouzakis of Speers, PA, uncle and aunt; Jim and Vanna Spencer of Blufton, South Carolina, aunt; Donna Andersen of Texas, uncle; Rudy Dami of Avella and Godparents; Mike and Donna Apostolakis of Monessen.  Several cousins also survive.

Mr. Spencer was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Emmanuel and Marika Brouzakis, paternal grandparents; Charles B. and Mabel Spencer, uncle; Charles R. Spencer, aunt; Sue Gump Dami and a cousin; James Vaughn Spencer.

Friends will be received on Monday-January 7, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  A Trisagion service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday in the funeral home.  Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. the hour of a funeral service on Tuesday-January 8, 2019 in the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Rd. Canonsburg with Father George L.
