Betty Crile Reid Wunderlich
Betty Crile Reid Wunderlich, 88 of Washington formerly of Christy Road died Thursday-July 6, 2017 at the Donnell House after a brief illness. Mrs. Wunderlich was born June 4, 1929 in Washington the daughter of the late Vaughn L. & Gladys M. Cain Crile. She was a graduate of Trinity High School and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Earlier in her life Mrs. Wunderlich was employed by York Realty as a Realtor. She was a very talented artist and craftsman. She enjoyed gardening, framing, all types of stone work, all aspects of painting and was also a talented photographer. She was a member of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, the McMurray Art League, was a member of a book club in Washington and also participated in the Art & Garden Club at the Lemoyne House for many years.
Mrs. Wunderlich had been formerly married to Paul Robert Johnston & Marshall Reid whom are both deceased.
Surviving is her present husband; Frank Elmer Wunderlich of Washington. Also surviving is a daughter; Joyce Elaine (Linus) Mayernik of Washington, 2 children of Frank Elmer Wunderlich from a previous marriage; Karen (Mike) McGroarty of Bethel Park & Robert (Judy) Wunderlich of Florida, a brother; Vaughn (Sandy) Crile of Florida, 5 grandchildren; Chelsea Johnston of Washington, Lauren Fischer (Trevor) Nissley of Pittsburgh, Collin Fischer, Adam Johnston & Alexa Simmons, 2 son in laws; Kenneth Fischer of Eighty Four & Delmer Simmons of Canonsburg, a daughter in law; Cheryl Johnston of Washington, 2 nieces; Karen Crile of Washington & Kathy Gallagher of McMurray, 2 nephews; Danny Crile of Washington & Brian Crile of Washington.
Mrs. Wunderlich was preceded in death by a son; Vaughn Robert Johnston, 2 daughters; Dawn Ellen Fischer, Denise Anne Johnston Simmons and a grandson; Ryan Robert Johnston.
