Nicholas R. Swart

Nicholas R. Swart, 29 of Washington lost his battle with addiction on Thursday- June 29, 2017 in Rochester.  He was born January 21, 1988 in St. Clair Hospital, Allegheny County the son of Gary L. Swart (Jennifer Markley) of Washington & Amber J. Hornick Swart (Barry Waychoff) of Washington.  Mr. Swart had been employed previously at Osso’s Pizza and for a demolition construction company in Rochester.  He graduated from Trinity High School in 2006.  He was an avid sports fan as a child as well as in his adulthood.  He had played all sports and excelled in them all.  He loved his family and children to the fullest. 

Surviving in addition to his mother and father is the mother of his children; Chelsea Ritenour of Cranberry, two daughters; Alaina Lynn Swart & Bailey Jordyn Swart, two brothers; Gary L. (Amy) Swart Jr. of Washington & Christopher Swart (Susie Sobrasky) of Washington, two sisters; Stephanie Swart (Jason Ruscello) of Washington & Brittany Swart (Ryan Weatherwax) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Mr. Swart shared a close relationship with his aunt & uncle; Jeff & Lisa Swart of Washington, cousins; Carrie & Judson Swart of Washington, nephews; Nathan, Jordan & Easton Swart of Washington & Julian & Roman Ruscello of Washington.  Mr. Swart is also survived by a paternal grandmother; Nedra Turnow of Waynesburg and a maternal grandfather; William Hornick of Washington.  He had many friends in his life that helped him in many ways in many different times of struggle.  Also surviving is a special friend; Lisa Hasson of Washington.  Several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many more friends also survive. 

Mr. Swart was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; William Turnow & maternal grandmother; Mardella Hornick.

Friends will be received on Wednesday-July 5, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday-July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Brandon Duplinsky officiating.  Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
