Sharon Lee Molchan

Sharon Lee Molchan, 63 of Washington died Monday-January 9, 2017 at the Donnell House after fighting a courageous battle with cancer and scleroderma.  She was born July 7, 1953 in Washington the daughter of the late Frank Angotti Jr. and Antoinette J. Randerson.  Mrs. Molchan was employed at Mellon Bank as a commercial auditor for some time and was later employed at the office of Dr. Protsko & Dr. Whiting as a surgery coordinator for 18 years until her retirement.  She was a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School.  Mrs. Molchan loved to read and golf and belonged to the Golf Club of Washington.  She loved her family, was always ready to join them for any small social event and enjoyed going on vacation with all of them.  She will be sadly missed by not only her friends and family but her loyal companion & protector; her dog; “Bella”. 

On February 16, 1985 she married Daniel M. Molchan who survives.  Also surviving is a son; Daniel F. (Christina Brown) Molchan of Houston, three sisters; Valerie (Tony) Molinaro of Washington, twin sister; Karen (Dr. Dennis) Brown of Washington and Alison (Jon) Nowe of Eighty Four, three grandchildren; Daniel F. Molchan Jr., Layla Jane Molchan & Ella Lee Molchan.  Several nieces & nephews also survive. 

Friends will be received on Thursday-January 12, 2017 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.  Services & burial will be private.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Washington Area Humane Society P.O.
