Delila Dawn Helfer Delila Dawn Helfer 59 of Washington formerly of Murrysville died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Washington Hospital. She was born March 29, 1955 in Apollo the daughter of Brooks F. Troup Sr., and Pauline “Polly” Morrow Troup of Apollo. Mrs. Helfer was a 1973 graduate of Kiski Area High School. She was an avid Hallmark Ornament Collector and was also a member of HECK (Hallmark East Collectors Klub). Mrs. Helfer loved spending time with her family especially her two granddaughters (her two princesses). On June 5, 1976 she married Kenneth A. Helfer who survives. Also surviving are two daughters; Nicole M. (Jeffrey) Dunn of Washington & Brooke M. (Richard) Boggess of Houston, two brothers; Brooks “Fred” (Marietta) Troup Jr. of Middletown, MD., & Edward (Teresa) Troup of Apollo, two granddaughters; Riley A. Dunn & Evelyn V. Boggess along with several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at E. Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday morning- at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. the time of service. Burial will be private.
